Sizing & Structure Design
-
Design and lead sales force / field force sizing engagements using
potential-based, workload-based, and activity-based (curve/ROI)
methodologies, tailored to brand, therapeutic area, and market maturity.
-
Build territory alignment and organizational structure scenarios — geography
design, span of control, role mix (sales, medical, access) — that translate
sizing outputs into deployable field structures.
-
Develop call plans and segmentation/targeting frameworks (HCP potential,
decile, channel mix) that feed directly into sizing assumptions.
-
Quantify reach, frequency, and coverage trade-offs across candidate
structures, and translate them into cost-to-serve and ROI implications for
client leadership.
Analytics & Modeling
-
Build and maintain sizing models and reusable tools in Excel/VBA, Alteryx,
SQL, Python, or R that incorporate call capacity, activity benchmarks, and
diminishing-returns response curves.
-
Run what-if and scenario simulations to stress-test size, structure, and
territory alignment decisions against business, budget, and compliance
constraints.
-
Benchmark proposed field force size and cost against therapeutic-area and
industry norms using internal and third-party (IQVIA, claims, syndicated)
data sources.
-
Incorporate patient epidemiology, prescription data (TRx/NRx), payer mix,
and market access dynamics into potential estimation, particularly for
specialty and rare disease brands.
Client & Stakeholder Management
-
Partner directly with client commercial leadership, sales operations, HR,
and finance teams to socialize sizing recommendations and secure buy-in.
-
Present findings, trade-offs, and recommendations in clear, executive-ready
narratives to senior stakeholders, including VP Sales and Commercial
Excellence leads.
-
Support project delivery — timelines, quality, and stakeholder communication
— across one or more concurrent sizing and structure engagements.
