Role & Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Sourcing:

Drive external/ internal sales activities in alignment with
organizational revenue and growth objectives, in close coordination with
the Head – C&I Business Development.

Lead client engagement through meetings, site visits, and on-ground
interactions to drive conversions and strengthen long-term
relationships.

Take end-to-end ownership of deal execution, from client acquisition and
proposal presentation to commercial negotiations and contract
finalization.

Collaborate with technical and financial modelling teams to develop
customized proposals and competitive commercial offerings tailored to
client requirements.

Monitor sales performance, manage the deal pipeline, and provide
accurate and timely revenue forecasts to senior management.

Work closely with Key Account Managers to foster strategic relationships
with key decision-makers across industrial and corporate client
segments.

Guide and Support manager- BD with all the required inputs, study,
documentation, market information, regulatory risks, commercial
understanding timely for proposal submission,
Key Skills & Competencies:

Proven expertise in business development within the corporate PPA space,
including captive and open access structures.

Strong communication, negotiation, and deal-closing capabilities.

In-depth understanding of project economics, regulatory frameworks, and
client return-on-investment (ROI) considerations.

Self-driven and outcome-oriented, with the ability to independently
manage and close high-value transactions.

Strong team management and leadership skills, with a clear focus on
performance delivery.

Willingness to travel extensively for client engagements, site
assessments, and business development activities.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; MBA
preferred.

Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in sales within the
renewable energy sector.

Demonstrated track record of successfully closing multi-megawatt
renewable energy projects.
