Job Description

Profile - Sr Manager Lead Generation & Sourcing

Exp - 10+ Years 

Location - Mumbai 

Role & Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Sourcing:

  • Drive external/ internal sales activities in alignment with organizational revenue and growth objectives, in close coordination with the Head – C&I Business Development.
  • Lead client engagement through meetings, site visits, and on-ground interactions to drive conversions and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of deal execution, from client acquisition and proposal presentation to commercial negotiations and contract finalization.
  • Collaborate with technical and financial modelling teams to develop customized proposals and competitive commercial offerings tailored to client requirements.
  • Monitor sales performance, manage the deal pipeline, and provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts to senior management.
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers to foster strategic relationships with key decision-makers across industrial and corporate client segments.
  • Guide and Support manager- BD with all the required inputs, study, documentation, market information, regulatory risks, commercial understanding timely for proposal submission,

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven expertise in business development within the corporate PPA space, including captive and open access structures.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and deal-closing capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of project economics, regulatory frameworks, and client return-on-investment (ROI) considerations.
  • Self-driven and outcome-oriented, with the ability to independently manage and close high-value transactions.
  • Strong team management and leadership skills, with a clear focus on performance delivery.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client engagements, site assessments, and business development activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in sales within the renewable energy sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully closing multi-megawatt renewable energy projects.
