Role Overview

As a Software Engineer in Test in the Adobe Primetime Authentication team, you will help build, maintain, and evolve automation systems across desktop, mobile devices, and game consoles to ensure the highest quality standards for Adobe products. You will work closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, contributing to both manual and automated testing while continuously enhancing the automation framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation testing frameworks and systems.
• Design and write both manual and automated test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, aggregate results, and automatically report findings.
• Collaborate closely with the development team and contribute to every product release by continuously improving the automation framework.
• Develop small applications for testing and demonstration purposes.
• Work with customers to support their development efforts and collaborate with cross-functional Adobe teams.
• Investigate and recommend improvements to product functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Participate in product requirement discussions and development sessions, applying testing best practices to influence product design and ensure seamless feature integration.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.

Technical Skills

• Strong passion for web technologies with excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good understanding of software testing fundamentals and testing methodologies.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with web technologies.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools.
• Experience developing test automation frameworks and systems.
• Hands-on development experience using:
  • Java
  • JavaScript

  • ActionScript
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience collaborating with remote and distributed teams.
