Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Platform Support team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting platform issues, resolving user queries, and providing deep technical support across cloud-native infrastructure. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer-facing teams to ensure platform reliability, performance, and an excellent user experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for hands-on engineers who enjoy diagnosing complex distributed systems issues, solving production problems, and improving platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical point of contact for user-reported platform issues, troubleshooting and resolving incidents within defined SLAs.
• Investigate and debug issues across Kubernetes clusters, AWS infrastructure, and application services.
• Analyze logs, metrics, traces, and monitoring dashboards to identify and resolve platform issues.
• Diagnose root causes of incidents related to deployments, networking, storage, performance degradation, and service availability.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to reproduce, escalate, and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base documentation.
• Monitor platform health using observability and monitoring tools.
• Participate in incident response, postmortems, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Communicate technical findings and resolutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement of platform support processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Support, Infrastructure Engineering, or Production Support roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including:
  • Workloads
  • Services
  • Ingress
  • Networking
  • RBAC
  • Helm
  • Troubleshooting pod and node-level issues
• Experience working with AWS cloud services such as:
  • EC2
  • EKS
  • IAM
  • VPC
  • S3
  • CloudWatch
  • Route53
  • ELB/ALB
  • Auto Scaling
• Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles including:
  • SLIs
  • SLOs
  • SLAs
  • Error Budgets
  • Incident Management
  • Reliability Engineering Practices
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as:
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • Datadog
  • ELK Stack
  • Splunk
  • New Relic
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting customer-facing platforms, SaaS products, or developer platforms.
• Exposure to service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Experience with API Gateways, Kafka, SQS, or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with chaos engineering, performance tuning, and load testing.
• Relevant certifications such as:
  • CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
  • CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer)
  • AWS Solutions Architect
  • AWS SysOps Administrator
• Experience working in 24x7 support, on-call, or follow-the-sun support environments.
