The Physical Therapist (PT) will provide comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services to patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-operative, gait and balance, vestibular, concussion, sports-related, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapy, documenting patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient recovery and functional outcomes.
Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for outpatient physical therapy patients.
Treat patients with a variety of conditions, including:
Orthopedic injuries
Neurological disorders
Pre- and post-operative rehabilitation
Sports-related injuries
Gait and balance impairments
Vestibular disorders
Concussion rehabilitation
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to improve mobility, function, and quality of life.
Accurately document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries using the organization's electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Manage an average caseload of approximately 10–12 patient visits per day (approximately 50 visits per week).
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Participate in clinical learning, peer collaboration, and continuing education initiatives.
Maintain compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.
Knowledge of manual therapy techniques.
Experience treating sports injuries and post-surgical patients.
Exposure to vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, or balance disorders is a plus.
Strong documentation and time management skills.
