Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and execution-focused Project Manager to support delivery across multiple concurrent client engagements. This is a critical role within our delivery organisation, operating as the core delivery engine that keeps projects structured, tracked, and moving with consistency.

This role is not a traditional client-facing program leadership position. Instead, you will work closely with Delivery Leads (onshore), who own client relationships and commercial outcomes, while you focus on:

  • Delivery execution, tracking, and progress control
  • Governance, reporting, and documentation across projects
  • Sprint and phase coordination for development and support engagements
  • Risk identification, escalation, and follow-through

This role is ideal for someone who has strong project execution experience, is comfortable across multiple concurrent projects, can operate in both Agile and phased delivery environments, and thrives on bringing clarity and discipline to fast-moving engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Execution & Coordination

  • Maintain and track delivery plans across multiple projects, including development, testing, and managed services engagements
  • Coordinate across teams — developers, testers, architects — to ensure work progresses in line with agreed timelines
  • Support phase-based delivery transitions (e.g. POC → Build → Support), ensuring smooth handovers and readiness criteria are met
  • Manage dependencies, blockers, and cross-project coordination, escalating conflicts early

Agile Delivery & Sprint Management

  • Facilitate and support Agile ceremonies where applicable, including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews
  • Maintain clear visibility of sprint progress, deliverables versus plan, and velocity trends
  • Work with technical resources and teams to ensure clarity of user stories, sprint priorities, and acceptance criteria
  • Track and communicate slippage risks with impact and proposed resolution options

Governance & Reporting

  • Produce weekly project status reports across all active engagements in a consistent, standardised format
  • Maintain and actively manage RAID logs — Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies — across all projects
  • Track progress against timeline, scope milestones, and key delivery outcomes
  • Maintain action trackers and delivery dashboards to give Delivery Leads and stakeholders real-time visibility

Risk Management & Escalation

  • Proactively identify risks and delivery issues early, before they become client-visible problems
  • Clearly articulate impact, severity, and urgency when escalating to Delivery Leads, with recommended options or next steps
  • Ensure all risks and issues are properly tracked, owners are assigned, and items are followed through to resolution
  • Maintain a structured escalation log and ensure nothing falls through the cracks across concurrent projects

Managed Services & SLA Tracking

  • Track and report on ongoing support or managed service engagements, including SLA adherence such as response times and resolution tracking
  • Ensure enhancement requests are prioritised, tracked, and progressed through to closure
  • Provide regular managed services reporting to support Delivery Leads in client conversations

Documentation & Process Discipline

  • Maintain structured delivery artefacts across all engagements, including project plans, trackers, and governance documents
  • Drive consistency in reporting formats, delivery tracking, and governance processes across the portfolio
  • Support continuous improvement of Alkemiz's delivery framework and contribute to building reusable templates and standards

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles within technology or consulting environments
  • Proven experience working on software delivery projects, including Agile and sprint-based delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams concurrently with strong prioritisation skills
  • Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Zoho, or similar platforms
  • Solid reporting and status communication skills — able to produce clear, concise status updates for leadership.
  • Ability to track delivery progress, identify risks early, and escalate effectively with supporting context
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Desirable

  • Exposure to enterprise delivery environments including Dynamics, integration platforms, AI and analytics, or web application development
  • Experience using AI to boost efficiency in managing project engagements
  • Understanding of the testing and QA lifecycle within a software delivery context
  • Experience supporting managed services or ongoing support models with SLA obligations
  • Experience working in distributed onshore and offshore team models
