• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical
Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects.
• Mandatory GCC experience.
• Strong knowledge of:
o Instrument QA/QC procedures and documentation
o Calibration and testing of field instruments
o Control systems and loop checking
• Familiarity with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and datasheets
• Knowledge of international standards (IEC, ISA, API)
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspection and testing of instrumentation and control systems at
site.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams,
and
specifications.
• Review and verify:
o Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
o Method statements
o Material submittals and datasheets
• Conduct inspections for:
o Installation of field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level)
o Control valves, actuators, and accessories
o Tubing, impulse lines, and instrument hook-ups
• Witness and document:
o Instrument calibration activities
o Loop checking and functional testing
o Pre-commissioning and commissioning tests
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and client representatives for
inspections.
• Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective
actions.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ISA, API, etc.).
• Maintain proper inspection records, calibration reports, and documentation.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements during all inspection activities.
