JD FOR Electrical QA/QC Inspector

Position: Electrical QA/QC Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection and testing of electrical installations at site.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and verify:
  • Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Method statements
  • Material submittals
• Conduct inspections for:
  • Cable laying, glanding, and termination
  • Cable trays and conduit installation
  • Panels, switchgear, and transformers (LV/MV)
• Witness and document:
  • Insulation resistance tests
  • Continuity tests
  • Functional and pre-commissioning tests
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and client representatives for inspections.
• Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
• Maintain proper inspection records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.).
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements during inspection activities.
