Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve industrial sales targets in the assigned territory.
Drive sales growth across industries, manufacturing units, OEMs, project customers, and key accounts.
Identify new industrial customers and business opportunities.
Increase market share through strategic sales initiatives.
Project & Industrial Sales
Develop business from industrial projects and manufacturing companies.
Work closely with the Technical Services team to convert opportunities.
Promote new products and industrial coating solutions.
Key Account Management
Manage key industrial customers and strategic accounts.
Develop long-term relationships with manufacturing companies, contractors, builders, engineers, and architects.
Prepare account growth plans and ensure customer retention.
Distributor & Channel Management
Appoint and develop industrial distributors.
Ensure healthy inventory and stock availability.
Monitor distributor performance and collections.
Achieve primary and secondary sales targets.
Market Development
Identify new industrial clusters and customer segments.
Expand customer base through market mapping and prospecting.
Gather market intelligence and monitor competitor activities.
Team Management
Lead, coach, and mentor Sales Officers/TSMs.
Drive individual and team KPIs.
Conduct regular field visits and performance reviews.
Customer Support
Coordinate with Technical Services to resolve customer complaints.
Provide techno-commercial solutions to industrial customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Reporting & MIS
Maintain CRM and sales funnel reports.
Monitor receivables and credit compliance.
Submit regular market feedback and competitor analysis.
Candidate Profile
8–12 years of sales experience.
Minimum 2 years in Industrial Sales.
Experience in B2B sales of Industrial Paints, Protective Coatings, Chemicals, Building Materials, or related products.
Strong experience in Distributor Management and Industrial Key Account Management.
Exposure to Project Sales and Industrial Customers.
Team handling experience is preferred.
Good understanding of industrial applications and manufacturing customers.
