Job Description – Accounts Industry: Renewable Energy Department: Finance & Accounts Experience: 8-10 Years
Location: Head Office About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officer to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial operations for our utility-scale and C&I renewable energy (Solar, Wind, and BESS) projects.
The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, managing statutory compliance, supporting project accounting, and ensuring timely financial reporting.
The role requires sound accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective coordination with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and financial institutions to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of all financial transactions. • Process vendor payments, customer receipts, employee reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliation of financial records.
• Ensure to raise invoice to customer monthly and collection.
• Monitor project-wise costs, verify invoices, and support commercial and project accounting.
• Handle banking and treasury operations, including BGs, LCs, FDRs, fund transfers, and working capital management.
• Support financial analysis, cost control, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, and financial institutions to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and support statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, depreciation records, and ERP-based accounting systems.
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory. • M.Com, MBA (Finance), CMA (Inter), or CA (Inter) will be an added advantage.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in Accounts, preferably in the renewable energy, EPC, infrastructure, or construction industry.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP/Oracle or other ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory compliance, banking operations, and financial reporting.
