Typical job responsibilities include but not restricted to :   

• Act as SPV level controller for 4-6 active SPVs and manage all F&A functions for the same under the guidance of FCs 
• Financial Planning, Control and MIS :

1. Prepare annual business plans & budgets in line with corporate goals.
2. Prepare periodic MIS and conduct variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and suggest corrective actions.
3. Carry out budgeting, forecasting, cost & credit control, margin analysis, costing & profitability analysis and management reporting.
4. Interface and assist various functions in the company for all approvals in ERP.
5. Manage budget control, MIS and reporting in ERP. 

• Bookkeeping and Financial reporting:

1. Finalization of Accounts, Preparation of Quarterly /Half Yearly/ Annual Financial records.
2. Preparation of Companies financials as per requirement of IND-AS and completion of audit for the same Designing and ensuring operation of internal control systems.
3. Ensure timely closure of all monthly activities.
4. Account Receivable & Payable Management.
5. Manage day to day finance operations and ensure that all critical reconciliations are prepared and reviewed on regular basis.
6. Preparation and submission of periodic MIS to management explaining the reasons for variances with the budget/ forecast.
7. Liaison with external auditors for scheduling and successfully completing the Audit (Internal and External) function.  

• Auditing and Taxation:

1. Ensure completion of timely internal & statutory audits and tax audits.
2. Evaluate internal control systems/procedures, highlight the shortcomings and implement necessary recommendations.
3. Manage tax planning and ensure timely assessment and filing of direct & indirect tax returns in compliance with Statutory Tax Acts.
4. Liaise with the tax authorities for both direct and indirect taxation matters.  

·        Cross functional team support:

• SCM, O&M and Projects:
• Smooth and fast internal approvals.
• Urgent support on matters like statutory and regulatory payments etc.  
• M&A:
• Financial and tax due diligence.
• Finalize transaction structure.
• Integration of acquired entities.  
• Project Finance:
• Implementation of Escrow/TRA operations.
• Periodic MIS and certification for banks.  
• Fund Management & Treasury/Banking Operations:
• Prepare quarterly/monthly/weekly fund planning as per budget and actual trends.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Manage treasury operations to optimize returns on surplus funds.
• Manage banking operations and ensure adherence to the contractual obligations

Desired experience and expertise  

• Minimum Education Qualification: CA
• At least 10 - 12 years of relevant experience post qualification.
• Excellent track record and technical acumen
