Key responsibilities
-
Develop, implement, and oversee a robust Business Integrity risk management
policy framework, strategy, and program, with corporate governance,
anti-bribery an anti corruption, whistle blower policy awareness, inquiries
and investigation work, to ensure the platform’s commitment to ethical
conduct, adherence to relevant local and international regulatory
requirements, and alignment with best practices.

Work closely with project management teams and the Enterprise Risk
Management (ERM) team to ensure policies are meaningfully, consistently, and
sustainably implemented and continuously improved in line with evolving best
practices.

Oversee all training initiatives across all levels related to ethics,
compliance, environment, health and safety, labour, and other social
aspects.

Develop reporting metrics, risk indicators, KPIs, and other regular
reporting requirements for assets.

Work with the company’s Internal Audit function to coordinate on internal
audits.

Formulate, manage, and oversee the pre-acquisition due diligence and
third-party risk assessment processes for all potential acquisitions,
investments, and partnerships, seeking support from external consultants and
advisors where appropriate.

Expert knowledge of company wide compliances and supervision the compliance
function and ensure that all departments adhere to all applicable
compliances.

Assist in building and maintaining a strong compliance, and risk management
culture across the business.

Provide support, advice, and guidance on compliance, sustainability, risk,
and governance-related matters to senior management and asset-level
compliance and E&S teams, as required.

Liaise with local stakeholders on Business Integrity and ERM-related risk
matters, as required.

Monitor compliance matters and report on the risk management program,
including incidents and issues, to relevant Audit and Board committees,
lenders, and shareholders, as required, in collaboration with relevant
personnel at the asset level.

Conduct periodic risk assessments of the company and its operations,
including planned and ongoing projects, and report assessment outcomes to
the Board.

Provide technical risk assessment support for expansion opportunities to
ensure risk management considerations are embedded into all decision-making
processes.

Manage investigations related to risk matters, including non-performance and
non-compliance cases, and report findings to management, the Board, and
shareholders, as appropriate.

Establish and manage a whistleblower reporting channel for both internal and
external stakeholders, in line with international best practices, ensuring
appropriate reporting mechanisms and Board oversight.

Maintain relevant records and registers, including whistleblower cases,
anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) registers, gifts and conflict of interest
registers, procurement registers, and delegated authority and signing
authority records.
Candidate background
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

6–12 years of relevant experience in risk management, ethics, and compliance
domains, preferably within India.

Experience in developing and implementing Business Integrity risk
management/ programs focused on ethics, compliance, Enterprise Risk
Management (ERM), and related areas, preferably with reputed organizations.

Preferred: Experience in the renewable energy sector with strong knowledge
of ethics and compliance risks, including anti-bribery and corruption (ABC),
fraud prevention, and broader energy-sector risks, with the ability to work
closely with relevant technical experts at both platform and asset levels.

Strong commitment to integrity, sustainability, ethics, and good governance,
with proven ability to demonstrate leadership and drive initiatives that
promote E&S, integrity, and corporate governance standards.

Self-motivated and proactive individual with a willingness to contribute
across various aspects of a growing business with a clear mission.

Effective management capabilities, strong attention to detail, excellent
organizational skills, and the ability to make well-reasoned, independent,
and transparent decisions within short timelines.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong
relationships and communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at
all levels, both internally and externally.

Ability to engage confidently and independently with the Board, senior
management, shareholders, employees, and third parties with authority and
assurance.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact,
professionalism, and discretion.

Experience in leveraging technology solutions for risk management activities
in previous roles will be an advantage.
