Job Purpose

The role will lead Group-level Investor Relations initiatives across listed and unlisted subsidiaries while driving financial performance monitoring, strategic reporting, financial modelling, benchmarking, and M&A support activities. The incumbent will work closely with the Group CFO, CMD, Board, and subsidiary leadership teams to strengthen investor engagement and business performance oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations

Prepare and deliver investor presentations, quarterly earnings materials, and management notes.
Develop strategies to expand analyst and investor coverage.
Manage investor and prospective investor interactions across group companies.
Lead investor roadshows, equity raises, and debt issuance preparations.
Track analyst reports and provide executive summaries to senior management.
Monitor valuations and key market parameters of subsidiaries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with analysts, investors, and rating agencies.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Review monthly performance reports, flash reports, and rolling estimates from subsidiaries.
Provide actionable business insights to the Group CFO and CMD.
Lead CMD Monthly Business Review (MBR) preparation.
Review Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and Long-Range Strategy (LRS) documents.
Monitor reports from Risk, Actuarial, and Strategy teams and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct deep-dive analyses into underperforming businesses, products, and geographies.
Drive peer benchmarking and competitive analysis.
Oversee capital management reporting and investment portfolio optimization.

Regulatory & Financial Reporting

Support and drive IFRS 17 implementation and ongoing compliance.
Review and analyze Risk-Based Capital (RBC) requirements and regulatory capital adequacy.
Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks including IRDAI, SEBI, and RBI requirements.

Strategic Initiatives & M&A

Build financial models for business planning and scenario analysis.
Lead acquisition studies, due diligence, and valuation exercises.
Support new company and subsidiary setup initiatives.
Conduct feasibility studies for new products, market expansions, and joint ventures.
Collaborate on transaction structuring and regulatory filings for corporate actions.

Educational Qualifications

CA / CFA / MBA (Finance)

Experience

15+ years of experience in Financial Planning, Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, or Strategic Finance.
Prior experience in Insurance and diversified Financial Services organizations preferred.
Proven track record in Investor Relations, Financial Modelling, Strategic Planning, and Business Performance Management.
