About Private Bank & Wealth Management (PBWM)
Entrusted in the primary global wealth hubs and corridors, PBWM provide
comprehensive specialist investment, banking, lending and wealth advisory
services to the world's most influential individuals and their families;
alongside Trusts, Charities and Family Offices. Based on a deep
understanding of them, their families and businesses, we connect our
clients to tailored opportunities and insights from across the Barclays
Group.
Overall purpose of role
·
To support Private Bank & Wealth Management business with day-to-day
processing, reviewing, reporting through technical expertise
·
Monitoring the business KPIs, reporting metrices to ensure that they are
timely reported to senior leadership
·
Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for
change in the processes
·
Development and implementation of data insights, MIS, intelligence,
development of reports and presentations on performance and communicate
findings to internal stakeholders
·
Participation in projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and
effectiveness
·
Drive business performance tracking, workforce planning, and advanced
analytics to support strategic priorities
·
Ensure strong governance, financial discipline, and adherence to control
frameworks across the business
·
Support standardisation, process improvement, and scalable, data-driven
ways of working
·
Partner with different functions to deliver consistent, insight-led
business outcomes
Risk and Control Objective
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance
with regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework
and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
Stakeholder Management
Ability to manage key stakeholders and build relationships, both
internally and externally. Will require strong interpersonal skills
given requirement and ability to collaborate and work cohesively with
colleagues across businesses globally. Ability to influence decisions,
negotiate, motivate and challenge stakeholders at all levels in the bank.
Ability to foresee issues, devise and implement solutions independently
and proactively, managing expectations accordingly.
Person Specification
·
Experience in Management Information system/Business Analytics preferable
from financial services
·
Good understanding of how MI & Analytics is used and the influence
this has on key decision making
·
Hands on experience in SQL, Tableau/ data visualisation, Alteryx/ETL
tools, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
·
The candidate must have a proven record of mapping, designing and
optimising processes and MIS
·
Must have strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to translate
large and imperfect data sets into meaningful takeaways, insightful
presentations and sound recommendations
·
Must have strong analytical skills and a proven track record of
problem-solving
·
Strong verbal and written communication; ability to communicate in a
compelling, concise and precise manner
·
Highly organised, proactive and diligent with strong attention to detail

Ability to process, synthesize and execute large data sets into actionable
insights
·
Experience of devising, executing business strategy broadly at client and

Significant Private Bank & Wealth Management industry experience
·
