Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering
methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities
for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities

Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using
industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that
code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.

Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other
engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and
ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture
of code quality and knowledge sharing.

Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively
contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture
of technical excellence and growth.

Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect
sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.

Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code
design, readability, and reliability.

Embark your transformative journey as a Senior Software Engineer - VP. You are
accountable for the integration of technical leadership and delivery of
enterprise and external system integrations for the digital asset platform.
This role focuses on connecting the platform with core banking systems,
payments, compliance, data platforms, and third‑party providers, enabling
seamless end‑to‑end digital asset processing across the enterprise and
ecosystem.
To be successful as a Senior Software Engineer - VP, you should possess:

Strong experience leading full-stack engineering delivery, with hands-on
expertise in Java-based microservices, APIs, and modern application
architectures.
-
Deep knowledge of DLT platforms (e.g., Hyperledger Besu / EVM-based
networks) and blockchain architecture concepts.
-
Proven experience in developing and deploying smart contracts (e.g.,
Solidity) with strong focus on security and lifecycle management.
-
Experience building end-to-end digital asset / tokenisation platforms,
including integration with wallets, custody, and transaction signing
systems.
-
Strong understanding of scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise systems,
including API design and distributed architectures.
Some other highly valued skills may include:

Knowledge of payment systems, payments processing, including domestic and
international payments, instant payments, and digital assets
-
Knowledge of blockchain or distributed ledger technology (such as Ethereum)
for secure transaction systems and how to integrate with them.

Deep understanding of common design patterns, software engineering
fundamentals, and best practices.
