Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering
methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities
for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities

Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using
industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that
code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.

Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other
engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and
ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture
of code quality and knowledge sharing.

Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively
contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture
of technical excellence and growth.

Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect
sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.

Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code
design, readability, and reliability.

stakeholders.
To be successful as a Liquid Financing Senior IT Analyst, you should have
experience with:

Work independently and/or with a group of developers to develop, enhance and
support Repo Market Data, Trade Execution, Trade Capture and other Front
Office applications.

Ability to design, understand & implement high-level technical design of
design components. Analytical ability including root cause identification
and pro-active design improvement.
-
Write clean, robust, and secure code following a test-driven approach and
take ownership of the deliverables of each iteration ensuring that the scope
of the project/deliverables is understood.

Interact with the testing team to ensure adequate tests are in place for
deliverables under development.
-
Perform code reviews to ensure implemented functionality matches
expectations and is in line with coding standards defined globally.
-
Experience in financial, banking or investment banking domain.
-
Expert level in Java 17 and above, Microservices, Solace/Kafka messaging.
-
Experience with DevOps tools: GITLAB, Infrastructure/configuration
management with Chef, Deployment automation.

Hands on experience with Java Full stack development with programming skills
such as java, spring, spring boot, SQL.
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong object-oriented
design & coding skills with implementation experience in Java.
Some other highly valued skills may include:

Exposure and hands-on on AI tools

Exposure to distributed caching technologies, preferably GridGain or Apache
Ignite.

Exposure to Angular-based UI development.
