Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team and interpret, organize,
execute, and coordinate the engineering technical aspects for large
and complex projects. You will participate in project planning,
proposal review, and will own the engineering elements of capital
estimates. Your technical guidance and recommendations will ensure
engineering aspects meet project requirements and remain within scope
and budget. You will lead timely issuance of quality deliverables
within schedule and budget. Your prior experience of handling large
scale EPC projects will be essential.
Major Responsibilities:

The role has overall responsibility for planning, organizing,
executing, and coordinating engineering activities in alignment with
project requirements, working closely with the Project Engineering
Manager. The position owns and manages the engineering budget and is
accountable for delivery within approved cost, schedule, and quality
targets.

The role leads and manages Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Control
System and Civil engineering designs in compliance with applicable
local and international codes, standards, and guidelines.

Responsibilities include establishing and managing engineering
scope, schedules, and resource plans; forecasting engineering
resource requirements; coordinating statutory and company design
reviews such as Model Reviews, HAZOP, and LOPA; ensuring compliance
with QA procedures; supporting value engineering and TIC reduction
initiatives; and participating in technical and commercial reviews
of engineering outputs and contract documentation.

Experience in managing and forecasting engineering bulk quantities,
including piping, valves, steel, concrete, and electrical materials,
and implementing quantity control measures to support a
minimal-change philosophy across disciplines with an understanding
of the process will be an added advantage. Exposure to
multidisciplinary coordination with Supply Chain, Planning, and Cost
Engineering teams for material management, budget control, and
project execution efficiency is preferred.

The position works closely with internal and external stakeholders,
including clients, sub-contractors, vendors, consultants, engineers,
architects, planners, supply chain managers, construction managers,
and quantity surveyors, to ensure coordinated and constructible
designs. Responsibilities include preparation and review of
requisitions and construction drawings and associated engineering
documentation.

The role leads large scale EPC projects often under tight timelines
and with minimal oversight. It supports design coordination with
construction teams, including implementation of Design for Safe
Construction requirements, and participates in risk workshops to
identify and escalate engineering‑related risks to the Project
Director.
Education and Experience Requirements:

A recognized bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited
college or university with over 20 years of working experience.

Executed at least two large scale complex EPC projects in Project
Engineering role

Experience working with international clients.

Experience working in multi-office workshare execution.
Required Knowledge and Skills:

In depth knowledge of EPC Project execution.

Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or
regulatory issues.

Working knowledge of industry / regulatory standards and design
criteria within the engineering disciplines.

Ability to develop innovative ideas to reduce project total
installed costs (TIC).

Ability to present technical design issues to customers and
suppliers and the ability to recommend solutions based on knowledge
and experience.
