Company Profile

We are a leading tissue converting manufacturer operating multiple tissue converting and packaging lines for toilet tissue, kitchen towels, facial tissue, napkins, and pocket tissue products. We are looking for an experienced expatriate Electrical & Electronics Maintenance Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills in modern tissue converting machinery.

Experience with the following equipment is highly preferred:

• Valmet Tissue Technologies⁠ tissue converting lines
• Körber Tissue Technologies⁠ converting and packaging equipment
• Bausano Group⁠  equipment
• Auto Trade machinery
• ICM machinery

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of tissue converting and packaging machines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, PLC, HMI, servo drive and automation-related faults.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC drives, servo systems, inverters, sensors, encoders and control circuits.
• Maintain machine uptime and achieve production targets through quick fault resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support commissioning, machine upgrades and modifications.
• Maintain electrical drawings, documentation and spare parts records.
• Ensure availability of critical electrical and electronic spare parts.
• Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Train local technicians and develop their troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and electrical standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Technical Skills Required

Candidate must have strong hands-on experience in:

• PLC troubleshooting (Siemens preferred)
• HMI systems
• Servo drives and motion control systems
• Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
• Industrial communication networks
• Sensors, proximity switches, photoelectric sensors and encoders
• Pneumatic and electro-pneumatic control systems
• Electrical panels and MCC systems
• Machine safety systems and interlocks
• Troubleshooting of tissue converting equipment and packaging machines

Minimum Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7- 10 years of experience  in tissue converting industry.
• Minimum 7- 10 years hands-on experience on similar tissue converting machines .
• Experience working in an international manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
