Manager/Sr. Manager - GST Compliance
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manager/Sr. Manager for our
GST Compliance team in Karnataka. This position will play a crucial role in
ensuring our organization meets all regulatory requirements regarding indirect
taxation and GST, safeguarding our financial integrity and driving strategic
compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and ensure timely and accurate GST compliance across the
conglomerate’s operations.

Manage and lead the preparation of GST returns and related documentation,
ensuring all submissions adhere to legal regulations.

Implement compliance frameworks and best practices for indirect taxation to
mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.

Conduct regular audits and reviews of GST processes, identifying areas for
enhancement and ensuring compliance with changing legislation.

Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance on GST implications for
business activities and transactions.

Represent the organization in discussions with tax authorities and resolve
any GST-related disputes or queries.

Stay updated on GST laws and regulations, and communicate changes that may
impact the organization’s compliance activities.
Requirements:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant
experience in indirect taxation and GST compliance.

Strong understanding of GST laws, regulations, and procedures related to
indirect taxation.

Proven experience in managing GST audits and assessments, with a keen
attention to detail.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax laws
and apply them effectively.

Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex information
clearly to various stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight
deadlines.

Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly
Excel for data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:

firm.
