Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Automation

Job Summary:

The Pahwa Group is seeking a skilled individual for the Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Automation position to lead automation initiatives and contribute to engineering excellence. This role is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency through innovative automation solutions, reporting directly to the Vice President of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize hands-on experience with Rockwell CCW V12, STUDIO 5000, FT STUDIO, and Siemens PLC S7-1200, S7-200 smart to design effective automation solutions.
• Develop PLC and HMI Programming for Rockwell AB Micro 800 Series PLC and Panel View 800 HMI to meet project specifications.
• Support the service team on-site by troubleshooting and performing equipment startup through offline and online modes.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and manuals for equipment and machinery to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Manage a dynamic team of 2-3 automation engineers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in creating ladder programs using Rockwell CCW and Siemens software for S7-1200 and S7-200 smart.
• Strong knowledge of Rockwell PowerFlex 523 and 525 Series VFD to maximize automation performance.
• Basic understanding of RTD sensors, pressure, temperature, RH, dew point transmitters, and actuators.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage for improving operational processes.
• A degree in Engineering, Automation, or a relevant field is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a leadership role within an automation team, demonstrating strong project management skills.
• Advanced certifications related to PLC programming or automation technologies will be highly regarded.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
