Sourcing/Vendor Development

Job Description
We are looking for a highly driven Vendor Development & Sourcing Specialist with strong experience in the Consumer Durables industry. The ideal candidate should have expertise in supplier development, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and vendor relationship management, along with the agility and ownership mindset required in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key role and responsibilities:

·          Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across multiple consumer durable categories.

·          Develop and maintain a strong supplier network to support business growth.

·          Manage multiple vendors simultaneously while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance.

·          Lead supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and cost validation to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.

·          Drive component and part development in collaboration with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.

·          Build long-term vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance through regular reviews.

·          Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and supply chain efficiencies.

·          Take ownership of sourcing projects with a proactive, execution-focused approach in a startup environment.

Requirements

·          Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

·          6 + years of experience in vendor development and sourcing within the Consumer Durables industry.

·          Proven experience in vendor development, costing, cost validation, and commercial negotiations.

·          Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills.
