Research and Development Engineer 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on new plywood materials and production techniques.
• Design and develop innovative plywood products that meet customer specifications and market needs.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements and enhance product quality.
• Evaluate and test prototypes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and performance criteria.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations on research findings and new product developments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to align R&D projects with business objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in the plywood industry and participate in relevant conferences.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Wood Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in research and development within the plywood or forestry industries.
• Strong understanding of plywood manufacturing processes and material properties.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for modeling and simulation (e.g., CAD, MATLAB).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field or specialized training in product development.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives and knowledge of eco-friendly materials in plywood production.
• Previous involvement in collaborative R&D projects or partnerships with academic institutions.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards affecting the plywood industry.
• Strong project management skills, including experience in leading R&D teams.
