Role Overview
The Assistant Manager (Civil) is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and
execution of civil and structural works within the manufacturing plant. This
role ensures that all plant infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and
complies with industry standards while supporting ongoing production needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Infrastructure Maintenance

Oversee the structural maintenance of factory buildings, plant facilities,
and internal roadways.

Manage the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, internal and external
sewerage, and drainage networks.

Schedule and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on plant
infrastructure to minimize downtime.
2. Project Execution & Monitoring

Plan and execute civil works such as equipment foundations, reinforced
concrete (RCC) works, structural steel/PEB, and industrial flooring.

Supervise site activities to ensure all work adheres to approved engineering
drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Track site productivity, manpower, and material usage to guarantee timely
project completion within budgetary constraints.
3. Vendor & Contractor Management

Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure
smooth day-to-day site operations.

Conduct joint measurements of work done and certify contractor bills.

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and project timelines.
4. Safety & Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and conditions across the
plant site.

Enforce statutory compliances and building regulations related to factory
safety.

Actively participate in plant safety committees and incident review
meetings.
