GM Commercial

The person will be responsible for leading and overseeing all commercial operations across the Chennai and Badvel manufacturing plants. The role requires end-to-end ownership of Finance & Accounts, Procurement, Stores, IT, and EDP (Electronic Data Processing), ensuring strong financial governance, cost optimization, operational efficiency, statutory compliance, and seamless business support across both locations.

·          Lead the Finance & Accounts function for both manufacturing plants.

·          Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts.

·          Monitor working capital, cash flow, and fund utilization.

·          Drive cost control initiatives and improve profitability.

·          Manage end-to-end commercial activities across both plants.

·          Develop commercial strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

·          Ensure smooth coordination between production, procurement, finance, and supply chain teams.

·          Oversee stores operations across both plants.

·          Ensure optimum inventory levels and inventory accuracy.

·          Monitor stock movement, reconciliation, and valuation

·          Ensure compliance with financial, statutory, legal, and corporate governance requirements.

·          Develop and implement internal controls and SOPs.

·          Ensure timely completion of internal and statutory audits.  

·          Lead and mentor cross-functional commercial teams across both locations.
