The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for post-contract cost management , client payment applications , and commercial administration of construction projects. The role requires strong experience in high-rise towers, villas, and luxury developments including 5-star projects , ensuring effective cost control, accurate valuations, and timely financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage post-contract quantity surveying activities from project award to final account closure.
Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim and final client payment applications in line with contract terms.
Carry out measurement, valuation, and certification of work executed.
Evaluate, analyze, and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders .
Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget updates on a regular basis.
Assist in preparation and agreement of final accounts with clients and consultants.
Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate cost records and commercial documentation.
Support commercial risk identification and mitigation strategies.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams on commercial and contractual matters.
Attend progress and commercial meetings and provide financial updates.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company commercial procedures.
Prepare monthly commercial reports for management review.
Maintain detailed records of measurements, valuations, claims, and correspondence.
Ensure timely submission of all commercial deliverables.
Proven experience in tower projects / high-rise buildings .
Experience in villas, residential, and mixed-use developments .
Exposure to 5-star hotels or luxury projects is highly preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management .
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant post-contract experience (adjustable as per requirement).
Strong hands-on experience in client billing and payment applications .
Thorough understanding of standard forms of contracts (FIDIC or equivalent).
Proficiency in measurement, BOQs, cost control, and valuation
