Job Title: Cashier – Collections

Job Summary

 

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process daily cash collections from customers, branch offices, and business partners.
• Handle large-volume cash transactions involving million/billion-value collections on a daily basis.
• Verify cash received against invoices, receipts, payment records, and supporting documents.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation by matching physical cash, bank deposits, invoices, and ERP/system records.
• Prepare and maintain accurate cash transaction reports, collection summaries, and reconciliation statements.
• Ensure timely cash deposits into company bank accounts and coordinate with banking partners.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, shortages, excess cash, or unmatched transactions.
• Maintain strict compliance with company financial policies, audit requirements, and internal control procedures.
• Coordinate with finance, accounting, branches, and operations teams to resolve payment-related issues.
• Safeguard cash and confidential financial records to minimize operational risk and fraud.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required transaction records and reports.
• Monitor daily cash flow and escalate unusual transaction patterns or risks to management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in cashiering, cash handling, treasury, or collections.
• Experience managing high-value / high-volume cash transactions is mandatory.
