The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring uninterrupted material availability, driving cost optimization, and leading the procurement team to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for:
  • Raw Materials (RM)
  • Packaging Materials (PM)
  • CAPEX
  • OPEX
• Align procurement activities with organizational objectives.

Strategic Purchasing

• Source and procure:
  • APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients)
  • Bulk Drugs
  • Specialty Chemicals
• Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Material Availability

• Ensure uninterrupted availability of materials and services.
• Coordinate procurement planning to avoid production disruptions.

Vendor Management

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers.
• Conduct supplier qualification and assessment.
• Negotiate commercial terms and pricing.
• Finalize supplier contracts and agreements.
• Build long-term strategic vendor partnerships.

Cost Optimization

• Drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop alternate sources of supply.
• Improve procurement efficiency without compromising quality.

CAPEX Procurement

• Manage procurement of:
  • CAPEX equipment
  • Utility equipment
  • Engineering spares

Cross-functional Coordination

The Purchase Head will lead the end-to-end procurement function, ensuring uninterrupted supply of raw materials, APIs, specialty chemicals, packaging materials, CAPEX equipment, and engineering spares.
