Kronos Functional Consultant – Workforce Management (WFM)

Job Summary:

Join our dynamic HR Technology team as a Kronos Functional Consultant – Workforce Management (WFM) and take charge of optimizing, configuring, and integrating UKG/Kronos WFM solutions. This role is instrumental in ensuring our systems align with operational and compliance mandates while driving efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders across Operations, HR, and Payroll to gather and translate WFM requirements into scalable Kronos configurations.
• Lead the functional design, configuration, and testing of essential elements including pay rules, accrual profiles, and schedules.
• Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
• Conduct comprehensive system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Document functional requirements, test cases, and configuration change logs in compliance with governance protocols.
• Monitor Kronos system performance and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and process efficiency.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Kronos (UKG PRO) Functional Consultant, with a particular emphasis on the timekeeping module.
• Deep understanding of timekeeping, scheduling, pay rules, and compliance workflows specifically in Kronos Dimensions.
• Proven ability to accurately gather requirements and deliver hands-on configuration solutions.
• Experience in end-to-end testing and troubleshooting processes within Kronos.
• Strong knowledge of HR and Payroll processes as they relate to time and attendance management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Kronos Activity Module and its applications in labor tracking, cost allocation, or project time reporting.
• Experience working with workforce data and reporting/analytics within the Kronos platform.
• Exposure to complex, multi-site, or unionized environments in the US, with various award/enterprise agreement interpretations.
• Project experience involving system upgrades, new site rollouts, or global Kronos deployments.
