Commissioning Employee (m/f/d)
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team at Harsco Rail as a Commissioning Employee and play a
pivotal role in the final assembly and commissioning of our cutting-edge rail
vehicles. Your contributions will ensure that our high-quality maintenance
equipment meets rigorous standards and performs reliably in the field, making
a significant impact on railway infrastructure globally.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the testing and commissioning of electrical, electromechanical, and
electronic equipment according to established test protocols.

Make necessary adjustments to ensure the operational readiness of rail
maintenance vehicles throughout the commissioning process.

Independently handle troubleshooting and repair tasks related to electrical
and mechanical systems.

Perform electrical measurements including insulation tests, earth
resistance, and bus measurements accurately.

Ensure complete and thorough documentation of all testing results and
commissioning activities.

Accompany test drives and assist in final checks prior to customer
acceptance of the vehicles.

Be prepared to undertake occasional business trips as required during the
commissioning phase.
Requirements:

Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or mechatronics is
essential.

Advanced training as an industrial master electrician, technician, or a
related qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Proficient in MS Office applications for documentation and reporting
purposes.
- Experience in the commissioning of rail vehicles is highly regarded.

Strong teamwork skills with a dedicated and proactive approach to tasks.

Fluency in German is required; good English language skills are a plus.
