Job Description - Executive Assistant
Try And Buy Everything
Executive Assistant — Founders' Office
"Keep up the pace with the Founder."
Bengaluru, India • Full-time, on-site • Reporting: Directly to the
Founder
ABOUT THE ROLE
Epik is building a new way to shop for high-consideration electronics —
letting customers try products at home before buying, rather than
relying on store visits or blind online purchases. As the company
scales, the Founders' Office is looking for an Executive Assistant to be
the operational backbone for the Founder — someone who can bring order,
speed, and follow-through to a fast-moving early-stage environment. This
isn't a calendar-and-travel-only role. You'll sit close to strategic
decisions, cross-functional execution, and the day-to-day rhythm of a
growing startup.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Own the Founder's calendar, scheduling, and inbox triage —
prioritizing what actually needs their time
-
Prepare briefing notes, decks, and summaries ahead of investor,
client, and internal meetings
-
Track action items across teams (ops, growth, product) and follow up
until they're closed — not just noted
-
Coordinate travel, offsites, and external stakeholder meetings
end-to-end
-
Draft and manage correspondence on the Founder's behalf, maintaining
tone and judgment
-
Support ad-hoc projects — market research, vendor coordination,
internal process documentation — as priorities shift
-
Maintain confidentiality on sensitive business, financial, and people
matters
WHAT THIS ROLE DEMANDS
-
Speed as a filter, not a feature.
Must operate at founder velocity: same-hour turnarounds, decisions
anticipated before they're asked. If they need a follow-up reminder,
they're the wrong hire.
-
Own the calendar as strategy, not scheduling.
Ruthlessly protects deep-work blocks, kills low-leverage meetings, and
sequences the week around the Founder's top three priorities — not
around whoever asked first.
-
Full inbox and communication command.
Drafts replies in the Founder's voice, triages to zero daily, and
handles 80% of correspondence independently with sound judgment on
what truly needs him.
-
Discretion and judgment at the executive level.
Will see business, deals, and personal matters. Needs demonstrated
trustworthiness, calm under pressure, and the spine to push back when
the Founder is over-committing.
-
Systems builder, not task-taker.
Creates repeatable processes (travel, follow-ups, meeting prep,
expense flows) so the operation runs even when instructions aren't
given. Prior experience supporting a founder/CXO strongly preferred.
GOOD TO HAVE
-
Prior exposure to a founder's office, consulting, or a high-growth
D2C/e-commerce startup
-
Working knowledge of tools like Notion, Google Workspace, and basic
MIS/reporting
