Job Summary

EXL is looking for an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Analyst with a background in the Insurance domain . The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end R2R activities, ensuring timely month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards. Experience supporting US-based insurance clients is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Perform General Ledger (GL) accounting and analysis.
• Handle accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with onshore stakeholders and business teams.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Meet SLA/KPI targets while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
