Role & Responsibilities Overview:
- Own DevOps engineering and production support for React, .NET, and AI-enabled applications across development, test, staging, and production environments
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for application builds, automated testing, deployments, release approvals, and environment promotion
- Collaborate with developers, QA, data science, AI engineering, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth release management and reliable application operations
- Support React front-end, .NET API/backend services, and AI application components by troubleshooting performance, deployment, integration, and runtime issues
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability practices using Azure-native tools and application monitoring platforms
- Manage source control, branching strategy, pull requests, code quality gates, and release workflows through Azure Repos/Git and Azure DevOps Boards
- Support cloud infrastructure, configuration management, secrets management, and deployment automation for secure and scalable application environments
- Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, defect coordination, and production issue resolution in collaboration with application and business teams
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, deployment guides, support SOPs, and knowledge articles for React, .NET, and AI application support
- Recommend and implement improvements to DevOps processes, release automation, environment stability, security controls, and operational efficiency
DevOps and Application Support Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts, release management, approvals, and environment workflows
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for React applications, .NET APIs/services, and cloud-hosted application components
- Good understanding of React, Node.js/NPM build processes, .NET application runtime, REST APIs, configuration files, and deployment dependencies
- Experience supporting AI/ML or GenAI-enabled applications, including model/API integrations, prompt service dependencies, vector search/RAG components, and operational monitoring
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, YAML, ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, pull request governance, merge conflict resolution, code scanning, and release tagging
- Knowledge of application security practices, secrets management, access control, vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps quality gates
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, incident management, root cause analysis, and service reliability practices
- Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, application connectivity, schema changes, backup/restore coordination, and performance troubleshooting
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes/AKS will be an added advantage
- Good to have – Experience with AI application observability, Azure OpenAI service integration, MLOps/LLMOps practices, and enterprise application support models
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science/engineering, information technology, mathematics, operations research, analytics, or a related technical field; candidates from strong academic institutions are welcome to apply
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, application support, release management, or cloud operations for enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps toolchain, CI/CD pipeline configuration, Git-based source control, and release automation
- Ability to support React front-end applications, .NET backend services/APIs, and integrated AI application components in production environments
- Good understanding of cloud deployment models, environment configuration, application dependencies, networking basics, access control, and secrets management
- Experience with incident management, production support, issue triage, log analysis, root cause analysis, and coordination with engineering teams
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools, alerts, dashboards, application health checks, and SLA/SLO-driven support processes
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, YAML, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, code quality checks, vulnerability management, secure deployment, and compliance-aware release processes
- Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI applications, APIs, model-serving platforms, prompt/application monitoring, or RAG-based solutions will be preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, ownership, and problem-solving skills
- Strong record of achievement, solid technical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues, risks, and release status to stakeholders
- Able to work in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment and support critical application operations under defined timelines
- Is able to understand cross-cultural differences and work effectively with clients and teams across the globe
