Technology Disaster Recovery Manager | Cyber Resiliency Work with Business Heads/ Process owners in developing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, by doing the following: • Design, govern, and maintain Technology DR plans and runbooks for applications, infrastructure, cloud, and platform services. • Conduct technology impact and risk assessments, including application criticality, dependency mapping, and RTO/RPO validation. • Plan and execute DR tests and recovery exercises (technical, failover, tabletop), validating recovery effectiveness and repeatability. • Identify DR gaps, single points of failure (SPOFs), and cyber-related recovery risks, and drive remediation with Technology and Security teams. • Partner with Cyber Security teams to ensure cyber recovery strategies (e.g., ransomware recovery, data restoration, system integrity validation) are defined, tested, and aligned with DR plans. • Govern third-party and SaaS DR assurance, including review of contractual recovery commitments and validation of test evidence. • Maintain accurate DR documentation and evidence, ensuring traceability between systems, recovery strategies, and test outcomes. • Provide DR and cyber resilience readiness reporting to technology leadership, highlighting coverage, test results, and residual risks. • Support major incidents and cyber events by advising on recovery sequencing, failover decisions, and system restoration. • Support client assessments, audits, and RFI/RFP responses related to Technology DR and cyber recovery capabilities. Technology DR Documentation & Maintenance • Work with Application, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Platform Owners to develop and maintain Technology Disaster Recovery Plans and runbooks • Document system criticality, dependencies, recovery architecture, RTO/RPO, and recovery prerequisites • Identify and track single points of failure (SPOFs) impacting technology recovery and support remediation planning Technology Risk & Impact Assessment • Conduct technology-focused impact and risk assessments, aligned to business recovery objectives • Assess recovery feasibility, data protection, and restoration constraints for critical systems • Document technology risk scenarios and recovery gaps, with clear ownership and follow-up actions DR Testing & Recovery Validation • Plan and coordinate Technology DR tests (failover, restoration, tabletop, and cyber recovery scenarios) • Validate recovery effectiveness, sequencing, and system integrity during tests • Document test results, observations, and lessons learned; track improvement actions to closure Cyber Recovery & Incident Support • Partner with Cyber Security teams to support cyber recovery readiness, including ransomware and data restoration scenarios • Support major incidents and cyber events by advising on recovery strategies, failover decisions, and restoration sequencing • Ensure cyber-related recovery actions are reflected in DR documentation and test outcomes Third-Party & SaaS DR Assurance • Coordinate DR assurance activities for critical third-party and SaaS providers, including plan reviews and test evidence validation • Track alignment with contractual recovery commitments (RTO/RPO) and escalate gaps as required Governance, Reporting & Audit Support • Maintain centralized DR repositories and records, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness • Prepare periodic DR readiness reports, covering recovery coverage, test status, and residual risks • Support internal audits, ISO assessments, client due diligence, and RFI/RFP responses related to Technology DR and cyber recovery Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement • Act as a single point of coordination between Technology, Cyber, and Business teams for DR planning and testing • Facilitate DR awareness and readiness sessions for technology stakeholders • Provide operational support during declared incidents, ensuring timely coordination and information flow Experience & Qualifications • Minimum 36 months of hands-on experience in Technology Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity assessment and planning, with at least 72 months of total professional experience. • Experience supporting DR planning, testing, recovery assessments, and readiness activities across technology environments. • Certification from an internationally recognized body (e.g., ISO 22301, DR/BCM, IT Service Continuity) is an added advantage. • Education qualification Bachelors/Masters Degree Core Competencies & Skills • Good knowledge of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and basic IT recovery concepts. • Understanding of ISO 22301 framework and documentation requirements. • Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills. • Ability to run assessments, collect data, and work with multiple stakeholders. • Analytical and detail-oriented with good problem-solving ability. • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and BCP documentation tools.
