Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Reinsurance Accounting professional to join our finance team in Noida. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in reinsurance accounting processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, and journal entries while ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reinsurance accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP .
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately in the accounting system.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Analyze accounting data and prepare reports for management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth accounting operations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP .
• Hands-on experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation .
• Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries .
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
  • Pivot Tables
  • HLOOKUP
  • VLOOKUP
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, or
• Postgraduate Degree/MBA in Finance or Accounting.

Preferred Candidate

• 4–8 years of experience in Reinsurance Accounting or Insurance Accounting.
• Experience working in a shared services, captive, or multinational environment is preferred.
