Reinsurance Accounting Professionals

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Reinsurance Accounting activities for Ceded and/or Assumed Reinsurance.
• Prepare journal entries, GL postings, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform financial and management reporting.
• Prepare regulatory reports (US GAAP/IFRS, Schedule F/Schedule P as applicable).
• Review premium, claims, commissions, and reserve accounting.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Experience in Reinsurance Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GL Accounting, Journal Entries, and Reconciliations.
• Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS.
• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP).
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Duck Creek, Genius, or URS is preferred.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
