About the Role

EXL Services is seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst with a strong background in the Insurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, transition support, SOP creation, management reporting, and business performance analysis while partnering with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Prepare annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial projections.
• Perform detailed variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual, Forecast vs. Actual) and provide actionable business insights.
• Support transition activities by establishing finance processes, ensuring knowledge transfer, and implementing best practices.
• Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance and reporting processes.
• Prepare monthly MIS, management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business decisions.
• Partner with business leaders to analyze financial performance, identify risks, and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities in coordination with accounting teams.
• Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy across finance systems.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.
