EXL is looking to hire a seasoned Vice President – Insurance to lead and grow its Insurance business. This is a senior leadership role for professionals with deep expertise in the Insurance industry, strong client management capabilities, and a proven track record of leading large business portfolios and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the Insurance vertical, ensuring business growth, operational excellence, and client success.
• Own strategic relationships with global insurance clients and serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
• Drive revenue growth through account expansion, client retention, and identification of new business opportunities.
• Lead large delivery and operations teams while ensuring high-quality execution and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Mentor and develop leadership talent within the Insurance practice.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformational business outcomes for clients.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience in the Insurance industry, preferably in leadership roles within Insurance Operations, BPM/BPO, Consulting, or Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
• Currently working as a Senior AVP, VP, Business Head, Vertical Head, Delivery Head, Account Head, or Practice Leader managing Insurance business.
• Strong understanding of Insurance operations across Life, P&C, Health, or Commercial Insurance .
• Demonstrated experience in managing P&L, large client portfolios, strategic account management, and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Proven people leadership experience, managing large, cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business growth and client relationship management.
