Job Description – Alteryx Sr. Developer

Role

• Resources for EXL Digital Analytics team to be based out of Noida (SEZ) and Gurgaon
• Front-end internal and external clients along with solution experts and project manage delivery
• Identify, understand, and analyze automation opportunities within business processes in detail along with F&A transformation champions
• Communicate technical infrastructure requirements to deploy automation solutions and convert solutions to tools, and products
• Lead, mentor team of junior resources

Essentials

• Identify F&A automation opportunities in client environment and able to perform end to end automation operations
• Core Alteryx + Power BI and Tableau developer with at least 6 years of experience in creating dynamic workflows and able to create macros and analytics apps. ( Must have )
• Have working experience on Alteryx + Power BI server
• Good understanding of SQL, databases and ETL jobs (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• Must possess a balance of analytical problem solving and strong interpersonal, and relationship development skills

• Business team/ operational leadership, and/or senior management, developers and testing team (SME)
• All Technology sub-functions

Primary External Interactions

• Client Teams – especially client business & technology teams and testing team

Skills

• Hands-on experience in Core Alteryx, Power BI, SQL
• Created data pipeline for data inflow and outflow
• Hands on experience with Power BI dashboard, modelling, DAX

Technical Skills

• Power Automate
• Hands on experience with Tableau
• Understanding python and R within Alteryx is a plus
• Know-how of BFSI, preferably Insurance

Process Specific Skills

• Delivery experience in a business aligned IT scenario
• Excellent Presentation, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving, including data analysis and validation

Soft skills (Desired)

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal at all levels of the organization

Soft Skills (Minimum)

• Good listening and consultative skills
• Good negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal skills

Education Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, MTech, MSc. Statistics, Sound education credentials

Work Experience Requirements

• Min 6-7 yrs. of total analytics experience
• Min 7+ years of experience in Alteryx, Power BI and Tableau.
• 1-2 years of working experience in Insurance Analytics would be good
