AWS Data Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In
this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud ecosystems and big data
technologies to design and implement robust data solutions, driving business
intelligence and analytics capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Redshift,
and Lambda.

Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various
sources into cloud-based storage and databases.

Utilize Python and PySpark to create data processing workflows that ensure
data accuracy and reliability.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data
requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Monitor and optimize data solutions for performance and cost efficiency in
the AWS cloud environment.

Document data processes and architecture to promote knowledge sharing and
compliance.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data
engineering and cloud architecture.
Requirements:

5-8 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on AWS cloud services.

Proficient in Python and experience with PySpark for large-scale data
processing.

Strong knowledge of AWS services, specifically Glue, Redshift, S3, and
Kinesis.

Experience with data modeling, database design, and SQL query optimization.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices in the data engineering lifecycle.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as
part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other AWS services such as Athena, EMR, or DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.

Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application in data
engineering.

Certification in AWS Certified Data Analytics, AWS Certified Solutions
Architect, or equivalent.
