Consultant Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Consultant Project
Manager to lead and deliver fixed-cost projects, outcome based & T and M
projects from initiation through closure. The ideal candidate will bring
strong leadership, structured planning, and stakeholder management
expertise to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and
to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution

Define project scope, goals, dependencies, deliverables, timelines, and
budgets in alignment with business objectives.

Develop detailed project plans and ensure seamless execution across all
phases.

Allocate resources effectively to maximise productivity and meet project
milestones.
Risk & Issue Management
-
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and
dependencies.

Implement corrective and preventive actions to keep projects on track.

Maintain a risk register and escalate critical issues where necessary.
Stakeholder Communication
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for project sponsors, clients, and
internal teams.

Provide regular, transparent project status updates through reports and
presentations.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the
project lifecycle.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
-
Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams in a collaborative
environment.

Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous
improvement.

Coordinate with department heads to ensure adequate resource
availability.
Process Improvement
-
Identify gaps in existing project delivery processes and recommend
improvements.

Drive adoption of best practices, tools, and methodologies across the
PMO.

Have exposure to AI tools and methodologies and enough knowledge to
bring the latest development trends within the applications development
lifecycle.

Contribute to the development of project management frameworks and
standards.
Requirements
-
9–15 years in IT with min 5+ years exposure in technical project /
program management.
- Certification - PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (preferred).

Strong command of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or
Hybrid).

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight
deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

High proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira,
or similar.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
