About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mobile Developer to join the Front Office Solutions (FOS) engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React Native for cross-platform mobile application development and a solid understanding of modern front-end development practices. Experience with React JS is highly desirable.
This role requires close collaboration with global teams across Product, Development, QA, and Business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile applications using React Native.
- Build reusable, maintainable, and performant mobile components and libraries.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA teams to deliver business features.
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APls and enterprise services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while driving root cause analysis.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Ensure high application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing.
- Work closely with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives around performance, security, and release management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience developing applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience integrating with REST APls and handling authentication/security mechanisms.
- Good understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a global team.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with React JS and modern web application development.
- Knowledge of Redux, Context API, or other state management frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and React Native Testing Library.
- Understanding of mobile security best practices.
- Experience in financial services, investment platforms, or enterprise applications.
