Control System Designer

Job Description:

• 3D modeling for offline instruments, Junction Boxes, Local Panels, Fire & Gas, Telecom, Cable / Channel trays, Tubing, Analyzer shelters and misc. equipment.
• Preparation / checking of Hookups, Installation details.
• Perform basic design calculations (e.g., JB assignment, Tray/ channel sizing, MCT sizing, conduit fill, panel sizing).
• Preparation / checking of Cable Schedule, physical layouts like Instrument Location Plan, F&G location plan, Telecom location plan, Cable Routing, Tubing, Control Room, Material take-off etc.
• Participation in design reviews / Inter-discipline interfaces.
• Software skills for 3D & 2D design (S3D / PDS / PDMS / MicroStation / AutoCAD / Smart sketch etc.)
• Exposure of SPI

Basic Job Requirements:

• Diploma with 3 to 15 years of experience in a Consulting / Engineering (EPC environment) pertaining to Hydrocarbon / Petro-chemical / Oil & Gas sectors.
