The Learning & Development (L&D) Lead is responsible for driving the
organization-wide learning strategy across corporate offices, manufacturing
plants, project sites, and regional offices. The role focuses on enhancing
employee capability, strengthening leadership pipelines, improving
performance, and supporting business growth through structured and scalable
learning initiatives. The L&D Lead will oversee training needs
identification, program design, execution, and measurement, ensuring
consistency and effectiveness of learning practices across all locations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. L&D Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement a comprehensive organization-wide L&D strategy
aligned with business goals.
Align training initiatives with workforce capability requirements and future
business needs.
Design and manage the annual training calendar covering corporate, plant,
project site, and regional teams.
2. Training Needs Identification (TNI/TNA)
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across functions and locations.
Partner with business leaders and department heads to identify skill gaps
and capability requirements.
Prioritize learning interventions based on business impact and
organizational priorities.
3. Training Program Management
Design and deploy structured training programs including technical,
behavioural, and leadership development.
Ensure effective execution of training initiatives across multiple
locations.
Maintain consistency and standardization in training content, methodologies,
and delivery.
4. Leadership Development
Build and implement leadership development frameworks and succession
planning initiatives.
Design targeted programs for emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders.
Strengthen organizational leadership pipeline and future-ready capabilities.
5. Plant & Project Site Training
Drive technical, functional, and safety training programs for plant and site
employees.
Collaborate with plant and project site leadership to address skill
development needs.
Oversee onboarding, induction, and workforce capability programs for site
employees.
6. Learning Delivery & Execution
Facilitate training sessions personally and through internal/external
trainers.
Manage a network of internal trainers and subject matter experts.
Ensure effective delivery through blended learning approaches (classroom,
on-the-job, and digital platforms).
7. Vendor & Training Partner Management
Identify, onboard, and manage external training partners and consultants.
Evaluate vendor performance and training effectiveness.
Negotiate contracts and manage training budgets efficiently.
8. Learning Systems & Process Management
Implement and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS), where applicable.
Maintain training records, attendance data, and compliance documentation.
Standardize and streamline learning processes across all locations.
9. Training Effectiveness & Reporting
Measure training effectiveness using KPIs such as training hours, coverage,
feedback, and ROI.
Track improvements in employee performance post-training.
Prepare dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Learning & Development, or related field
1 5 + years of experience in L&D, preferably in manufacturing,
infrastructure, or multi-location organizations
Experience managing learning across plants/project sites is highly desirable
