Industrial Relations Person will be responsible for supporting and executing
Industrial Relations activities at the plant to ensure harmonious employee
relations and uninterrupted plant operations. The role requires extensive
experience in handling labour law compliance, contract labour management,
industrial disputes, accident and fatality coordination, legal matters,
disciplinary actions, union interactions, and workforce management across
multiple shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day Industrial Relations activities and employee grievance
resolution.
Manage disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and misconduct cases.
Coordinate plant accident, major incident, and fatal case documentation with
EHS, HR, and statutory authorities.
Assist in labour court matters, legal cases, and liaison with government
authorities.
Manage contract labour compliance, contractor audits, and statutory
documentation.
Support union interactions, settlements, and employee communication.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, the Factories Act, the Contract Labour
Act, EPF, ESI, Bonus, and other applicable regulations.
Maintain statutory registers, compliance records, and IR MIS reports.
Coordinate workforce-related issues across day and night shifts.
Work closely with Production, EHS, Security, and Administration for smooth
plant operations.
Desired Candidate Profile:
10–11 years of experience in Industrial Relations in a manufacturing plant.
Industry Preference: Manufacturing, Precast Concrete, Cement, Steel,
Automotive, Engineering.
Strong exposure to labour laws, contract labour management, union handling,
legal case coordination, and accident/fatal case handling.
Good communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
MBA/MSW in HR/IR/Labour Welfare. LLB will be an added advantage.
