Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory, M365 & Windows Server Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize enterprise identity and collaboration environments. The role involves administration of hybrid identity services, Microsoft 365 workloads, and Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring compliance, governance, and operational efficiency for a leading healthcare client.

Key Responsibilities

• Active Directory & Identity Services
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, GPO, Azure AD, Entra ID .
  • Manage identity lifecycle workflows including onboarding, offboarding, and access governance.
  • Implement MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, and Zero Trust frameworks .
• Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Configure and support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams .
  • Manage tenant‑to‑tenant migrations and hybrid coexistence scenarios.
  • Ensure secure collaboration and compliance across M365 workloads.
• Windows Server Administration
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and OS support for Windows Server environments.
  • Implement hardening, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Support DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RRAS configurations.
• Cloud & Security Governance
  • Apply Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Secure Score improvements.
  • Drive automation using PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM templates.
  • Optimize infrastructure costs and enhance compliance posture.
• IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Utilize Service Desk Plus, Jira Service Manager, CMDB for incident/change/problem management.
  • Reduce ticket backlog and improve service uptime through automation and API integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in AD, M365, and Windows Server administration.
• Proven expertise in identity management, hybrid environments, and cloud security .
• Hands‑on experience with Exchange Online migrations, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive .
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server patching, upgrades, and governance .
• Familiarity with automation tools (PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep) .
• ITIL process knowledge and ITSM tool exposure.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Administrator
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
• ITIL or equivalent service management certification
