Responsibilities – Production Engineer (Machine Shop)

• Develop and optimize CNC/VMC programs (2D) for machining of precision components as per design and process requirements.
• Ensure first-time-right machining through accurate tool selection, cutting parameter optimization and fixture setup validation.
• Monitor and control daily production activities to achieve output targets, quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Implement and sustain TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities.
• Analyze machine performance and downtime to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and tooling departments to resolve machining or equipment-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain process sheets, operation manuals, and setup instructions for production operators.
• Ensure adherence to 5S, safety, and quality standards across the machine shop.
