Job Title : AGM - Business Planning

Job Objective :

The objective of this job is to lead and manage Strategic planning, budgeting, and cost containment

 

Key Responsibilities : 

·          Lead long-term business planning and analysis of new business opportunities, including M&A.

·          Drive business plan tracking, strategic intent deployment and enterprise-wide alignment.

·          Evaluate market trends, customer dynamics and competitor landscape to shape business direction.

·          Develop business and cost plans aligned with business outlook, customer strategies and sourcing/Va-Ve (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) initiatives.

·          Regularly review performance against budget and provide course correction recommendations.

·          Implement and manage standards and activity-based costing at product, unit, division and customer levels.

·          Lead pricing decisions by integrating cost structures and competitor benchmarking.

·          Identify and drive profit improvement initiatives using variance analysis and Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) methodology.

·          Oversee budgeting processes, including evaluation and monitoring of cost centers and capital allocations.

·          Participate in high-level commercial negotiations for procurement of BOM, non-BOM, consumables, capital equipment, service contracts and other expenditures.

·          Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Procurement and Business Units to ensure strategic and financial goals are met.

Act as a key contributor in cross-border projects, policy formulation and business transformation initiatives.
