Program Manager – NPD (New Product Development)
Qualification:
BE/B.Tech (Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering)
Experience:
6+ Years
Team Handling:
4–5 Members
Key Responsibilities
Program Management for Product Realization (CSA, TC & Rotor)
- New project planning as per APQP timing plan in line with customer requirements.
- Submission of all PPAP documents to customers as per requirements based on TS.
- Submission of tool-up and prototype samples.
- Concept finalization for gauges and fixtures for Connector Sub Assembly, Tube Connector (TC), and Rotor.
- CSCS sign-off with customers for new projects.
- QACM for all new and existing parts on time.
- Ensure First Time Right PPAP.
New RFQ Handling
- Handle new customer RFQs.
- Preparation and submission of Bill of Material (BOM) and process sheets for new components and ECN parts.
Cost Reduction
- Drive cost reduction programs in running projects through VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering).
Engineering Change Management
- Implement ECN (Engineering Change Notice) and PCN (Process Change Notice) as per customer and process requirements.
Process Validation
- Conduct process validation for critical processes.
Customer Audit Coordination
- Coordinate customer process audits for new projects with Production and QA teams.
Team Development
- Train and guide team members on PPAP, Layout Inspection, and Machine Programming.
Process Control
- Establish Initial Flow Control for new parts.
