Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
GCP Data Engineer
with strong expertise in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, PySpark, SQL, and Apache Airflow
. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing,
developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data
platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP.

Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines using Python and
PySpark.

Develop data ingestion and transformation workflows using Apache Airflow.

Work with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Dataflow,
Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub.

Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and
reporting.

Optimize data processing performance and ensure high data quality.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and cross-functional
teams to deliver robust data solutions.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data pipelines.

Follow best practices for data security, governance, and cloud architecture.
Required Skills
-
4–8 years of experience in Data Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with GCP.
-
Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
-
Experience with Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer is preferred).

Experience with BigQuery and other GCP data services.
-
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have

Experience with Kafka or Pub/Sub.

Knowledge of dbt, Terraform, or Docker.

Exposure to Spark optimization and performance tuning.
-
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
