The Manager – Mechanical Design & Engineering will lead all mechanical engineering activities for the 350 MW brownfield expansion unit. The role involves detailed engineering review, integration of new systems with existing operating units, technical coordination with OEMs, and ensuring timely engineering deliverables to support construction and commissioning.

| Segregation of scope of supply, drawings, layouts of various packages defining the boundary limits. | |
| Plan integration of new unit with existing: | |

| Assess capacity margins of existing facilities. | |
| Coordinate shutdown planning for mechanical tie-ins. | |

| • Boiler structural, rotary drives & pressure parts. | |
| • Steam turbine & auxiliaries. | |
| • Generator & gas system. | |
| • Condensate & feed water systems. | |
| • BTG & Major Equipment Engineering | |
| • BFPs, CW pumps, ID/FD/PA fans. | |

| Validate heat & mass balance and steam cycle parameters. | |
| Ensure compliance with ASME, IBR, IS and relevant standards. | |
| Review P&IDs, piping layouts, testing criteria & NDT. | |
| Ensure optimal routing within brownfield space constraints. | |
| Monitor piping material specifications and BOQ accuracy. | |
| Develop WPS - Welding procedure specification. | |
| Technical evaluation of OEMs and EPC contractors. | |
| Review vendor drawings and resolve technical deviations. | |
| Participate in FATs and technical discussions. | |
| Provide technical guidance during erection & alignment. | |
| Resolve site engineering queries coordinating with OEMs. | Construction & Commissioning Support |

Educational Qualifications & Key Competencies:
